EAC-CASSOA's technical mission has been carried out a mission of five days from the 20^th to 24^th of February 2023 to Burundi Civil Aviation Authority. The mission was to evaluate Burundi's Status of compliance /implementation of harmonized Safety Regulations, and associated Technical Guidance Materials and Evaluate Findings from the last ICAO ICVM Audit as per the Protocol Questions, development of corrective Action Plan, SSP Implementation and AIG; and Health Promotion for license holders and other aviation stakeholders subject to a medical assessment.  The Director Manager of Burundi Civil Aviation Authority welcomed the mission and also revealed that it will assist the development of the sector of civil aviation in Burundi in particular and East African Community in general.
